Re-queening and Splitting Colonies

It’s spring, and all the bees are wanting to swarm! Not sure what to do? Join us on June 22. You will learn now to manage the size of your hive by splitting and re-queening a few of our colonies at the bee sanctuary. This class is recommended for second-year+ beekeepers. Protective gear is required for all students attending this class (suit/jacket, closed shoes, gloves).

ALL ATTENDEES MUST BE REGISTERED - NO DROP-INS OR ADDITIONAL PEOPLE. The registration fee will help us offset the cost of the Italian Queens that we group-purchased through Next Generation Beekeeping.
