New Spin on Monthly Meeting

Long Beach Beer Lab becomes Long Beach Baer Lab on January 5! Join Long Beach Beekeepers for a special edition of our monthly meeting as we welcome Professor Boris Baer from the Center for Integrative Bee Research (CIBER) at University of California Riverside to share his genetic research to build a better bee by combining gentle characteristics and disease-resistant qualities. 

Long Beach Beekeepers normally meets on the first Sunday of the month. In order to allow our members to celebrate the New Year's Day holiday with family and friends, our January meeting will move to a weekday evening and a different location. We will gather at 6:00 for those interested in buying dinner or a beverage. The program will start around 6:30.

Long Beach Beer Lab is family friendly, dog friendly and a friend of the club! In addition to an impressive array of beer, they make first-rate pizza and an amazing selection of bread.
