Beekeeping 101: Teen Climate Council Group

This will be a special session of Beekeeping 101 for the Teen Climate Council Group. Tanis and Jaime will be hosting this group of young people.

Beekeeping 101 is an introductory course that includes instruction, discussions, and suiting up to inspect the hives in the bee yard.  This class is offered free of charge, but advance online registration is required (including guests).

1. Free! 
2. Online registration required.
3. No prior experience needed.
4. Wear thick long pants (such as  jeans), closed-toed shoes (preferably boots), and thick socks. 
5. Be aware: bee stings are always a possibility.
